Refund Policy

IT Guy delivers digital software license keys. Due to the nature of these products, all sales are considered final once the license key has been delivered or activated. Digital licenses cannot be revoked or retracted once issued, which is why we do not offer refunds for reasons such as:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Incompatible systems or incorrect purchases
  • Failure to follow activation instructions
  • Third-party conflicts (e.g., pirated OS or expired antivirus)

Valid Grounds for Refund or Replacement

Our commitment to customer satisfaction binds us to take appropriate steps if we cause the issue. Refunds or replacements may be considered under the following scenarios:

  • The product key fails to activate, and the error is verifiable by our support team.
  • You received an incorrect key for a different version or product, only if the team made this mistake. This is not applicable if you mistakenly ordered the wrong item.
  • You did not receive the product key within 24 hours, and support cannot resolve the issue.
  • Duplicate transactions made in error (must be reported within 24 hours); otherwise, the IT Guy will not process it and will consider it two purchases for the same product.

In such cases, our first course of action will be to provide a replacement key or technical support. A full refund is issued only if IT Guy is clearly at fault and no viable alternative can be provided.

Support First Approach

Before any refund is approved, customers must first assist our technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. We may request screenshots, remote access, or error logs to assist with diagnosis. Failure to cooperate may disqualify refund eligibility.

How to Request a Refund?

If you are eligible for a refund, please submit a refund or replacement request, contact us at support@itguy.pk within 2 days of your purchase. Include:

  • Order ID
  • Screenshot of the error or issue
  • Summary of troubleshooting steps attempted

It is to be noted that a 100% refund is at the discretion of the IT Guy’s issue resolution team. Refunds, if granted, are processed back to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.
