1. Acceptance of Terms
Users explicitly agree to be legally bound to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein by accessing this website, purchasing digital goods, or engaging with any services offered by IT Guy. This online agreement acts as a binding contract between the user and IT Guy and governs all interactions with our digital assets and service infrastructure.
Users who do not accept these Terms in full are strictly prohibited from using the website or any associated services. Extended usage will be regarded as acceptance of any updates, modifications, or legally enforced revisions made to these Terms at any time without prior notification.
2. Description of Services
IT Guy provides licensed software solutions via electronically delivered activation keys. These include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office productivity suites, antivirus products, and related digital tools. Each purchase may include activation assistance provided remotely through secure support channels.
We do not provide physical installation media or on-premises installation services unless otherwise explicitly noted. All services are rendered digitally, and users are solely responsible for ensuring compatibility with their system environment prior to purchase.
3. Product Delivery & Activation
- Product keys are delivered electronically to the email provided at checkout.
- Delivery is typically within 1–3 hours, but may take up to 24 hours.
- Activation assistance is offered for initial setup and may require user cooperation, including remote desktop access or screen sharing.
Activation support is offered at no additional charge and may include remote desktop sessions or guided assistance via chat or email. IT Guy is not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect user information, spam filters, third-party system errors, or force majeure events. IT Guy is not liable for delays caused by incorrect personal information provided by the user or third-party platform issues.
4. Payment Terms
All pricing is denominated in PKR (or another applicable local currency) and inclusive of standard taxes unless explicitly excluded. Full advance payment is required to initiate product delivery or activation services.
IT Guy reserves the right to revise pricing structures, discontinue product offerings, or modify service bundles at any time without prior notification. Payment methods may include digital wallets, bank transfers, or third-party gateways with appropriate encryption and fraud detection measures.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of digital goods and software licensing regulations:
- All sales are final once the license key is delivered. Read Refund Policy.
- Refunds are not issued for buyer’s remorse, system incompatibility, or failed installations due to user error.
- Exceptions may be considered in the case of provable non-functionality attributable to the IT Guy or the software provider.
All requests for refunds must be submitted via email in writing within 24 hours of purchase, along with supporting documentation. Contact us for support.
6. Licensing & Usage Rights
- Product keys are licensed for single-use, personal, or business activation unless explicitly sold as multi-use or volume licenses.
- Unauthorized duplication, resale, or distribution of license keys will result in immediate termination of service and may trigger civil or criminal liability.
- You are responsible for ensuring the compatibility of your system with the software version purchased.
IT Guy is not affiliated with Microsoft or any software publisher unless explicitly stated. All trademarks are the property of their respective product owners.
7. Technical Support
Support is available for activation, error resolution, and system compatibility guidance.
- Support is limited to the product(s) sold through IT Guy.
- IT Guy does not offer generalized IT consulting or unrelated hardware repair services under this agreement.
- Continued support is discretionary and may be terminated for abusive behavior or policy violations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- IT Guy shall not be liable for any special, exemplary, unforeseen, or collateral damages arising from use of the services, whether or not advised of the possibility thereof, including, without limitation, data loss, downtime, or business interruption.
- Our total liability under any legal theory shall not exceed the purchase amount paid by the customer.
No warranty is provided beyond the validity of the digital license at the time of delivery.
9. Termination
IT Guy reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate user access to its digital platform, licensing services, or support channels in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to fraudulent activity, license misuse, circumvention of security protocols, or other behaviors deemed detrimental to operational security or brand integrity.
Termination may occur with or without notice and does not absolve the user of obligations arising prior to the termination. Continued attempts to access services post-termination may result in legal action, civil liability, or reporting to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory bodies.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, service marks, text, graphics, source code, and documentation provided on or through the IT Guy platform are protected under national and international intellectual property laws. These assets are either solely owned by IT Guy or used under valid third-party licenses.
Users are strictly prohibited from reproducing, redistributing, modifying, transmitting, or exploiting any proprietary material without express written authorization. Violation of these protections may result in legal proceedings and the pursuit of injunctive relief and damages.
11. Privacy and Data Handling
IT Guy collects, stores, and processes user information according to the Privacy Policy and applicable laws for user data protection laws, including but not limited to GDPR and relevant local privacy regulations. Collected data may include personal information required for service delivery, fraud prevention, and transactional security.
We do not sell, lease, or share user data with third parties except where required to fulfill service obligations or comply with lawful requests. By using our services, you consent to such data practices, which are further detailed in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and all transactions conducted via the IT Guy platform shall be interpreted and enforced in alignment with the substantive laws of Pakistan, excluding any principles of conflict of laws that might otherwise mandate the application of the laws of another jurisdiction. Any disputes, claims, or controversies stemming from, relating to, or associated with these Terms and Conditions, including any disputes or inquiries concerning their formation, enforceability, or legal standing, or termination, shall fall under the sole and exclusive adjudicatory authority of the competent courts located in Pakistan.
13. Amendments
IT Guy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any revisions or policy amendments become effective immediately upon publication on this website unless stated otherwise.
Continued access to or use of the platform following such changes shall constitute your consent to the revised terms. It is the responsibility of users to periodically consult these Terms to stay apprised of any modifications or updates that may affect their continued use of the services.
